Roll Call of Officers: Helen Goyings;Chair/ Tom Richmond;1st Vice-Chair / Marissa Gonzales; 2nd Vice Chair (absent)/ Kerry Murray;Secretary / Larry Blose;Treasurer, Keith Bacon; 3rd Vice Chair and Communications Chair (Absent)

Approve Agenda- Tom Richmond moved to approve, Mike Leatherman, Seconded. Motion to approve passed by majority vote.

Approve Minutes- 8/13/2025 Minutes Mimi Byres moved to approve, Larry Blose, seconded. Motion to approve passed by majority vote.

Financial Report- (See attached Budget and treasurers report.) Larry explained our Financial report. He explained that there are two bank accounts. A State account and Admin account. These are used for different types of expenses. Administrative type expenses in the Admin Account and money from Act Blue for example, in the State Account. Expecting much more money coming in for this next year.

Next Larry reviewed our Budget. We will need to support 8 Candidates in this next cycle and there will be no Office in Plainwell this year either. We will have 3 booths this year at the Fair as well as 4 people working each shift. We will also attend 3 Parades: The Dorr 4th of July Parade, the Allegan County Fair Parade and the Douglas Pride Parade.

Vote to approve Budget: Tom Richmond, moved to approve, Mike Leatherman, seconded. Motion passed by majority vote.

Membership Report: We currently have 145 active members. Waiting on new software for membership function. Stay Tuned.

CD4 Report: 1. Get Rid of Bill Huizenga! Sen. Sean McCann will be running for Michigans 4th Congressional District against Bill Huizenga. McCann will be supported by the Democratic Party.

Billboards: We’ve had 3 up so far, one more is going up around Kalamazoo. There are more to come this summer. We have reserved a Billboard at the 131 Racetrack in Martin for 12 weeks.

Chair Report: The Nominating Convention will be held Sunday April 19th. Busses will be provided. The Bus will leave at 7am and we will be back on the same day. The Convention will be held at Huntington Place in Detroit. We will be nominating candidates for Attorney General and Secretary of State. You must be a member for at least 30 days prior to the Convention to attend and vote
